A few commonly asked questions:
1. Can my child leave their car overnight in the school parking lot.
Yes, please have them park in in the parking lot near our auditorium/portables. I
suggest parking next to a light pole. CVHS is not responsible for your
car/stolen items, but you may park your car overnight and lock it up. The gates
will be open on Saturday evening so that your child can get to their car to
drive home.
2. Does my child still need to attend first hour on Thursday?
Yes. I will only excuse your child from 8:15 AM-on. Please have your child check in
with their 1st hour teachers and all of their teachers regarding missed work.
3. What is considered “dress clothes” for LA Phil?
As long as it is not jeans. A nice top/slacks/skirt/khakis.
A few reminders:
1. ALL medications must be clearly labeled and placed into a ziplock
bag that is also labeled with first and last names.
2. Please pack LA Phil clothes into your CARRY ON luggage. It is
recommended that you carry on a backpack or something like a backpack.
3. Don’t forget to bring SUNSCREEN. Friday it will be 74 degrees and SUNNY.
Please also don’t forget to pack a light jacket for those California nights.

5. Don’t forget to LABEL your instrument and luggage. Label
everything that you can.
6. Students should meet in the Orchestra Room at 8:15 AM on Thursday.
7. Don’t forget to pack your Orchestra T-Shirt for Friday and jeans
with no holes please.
