**Monday, May 20th-Strolling Strings Mock Awards Breakfast & Potluck**

This event has always been a fun way to celebrate the student’s hard work and their school year in Strolling Strings. There is a potluck sign up on their Strolling Strings google classroom. You can buy breakfast foods and bring it to share with the class or make your own food-entirely up to you. This will take place during our regularly schedule class at 6:30 AM. Additionally, our strolling captains always get everyone a fun “award” item and present it to each individual in our group. For instance, one year they got me a plastic bat and presented me with the “Always going to bat for the students award”. Or another year, I received a cell phone lens attachment that enabled me to take wider pictures for “Seeing the Big Picture Award”. The awards are sometimes silly, but in the past have been a really fun way to end the year. If you do not wish for your child to participate, please let me know. If you do want your child to participate, please email me and let me know. Otherwise, we assume that all students wish to participate. If your child wants to participate, please have the bring $3 into class and give it to their strolling captains so that they can purchase the award items.

This has been one of the best years yet for our Strolling Program and it’s been incredibly exciting to watch them grow year after year! Thank you for lending me such amazing children to work with!
