Students & Parents:
Your child will receive a permission slip on 11/28 to attend our field trip to the Gilbert Senior Center to perform for the Gilbert Rotary Club. This trip is on Thursday, December 6th. All students need to be at school no later than 6:15 AM and the bus will leave promptly at 6:30 AM. All students are provided breakfast at the event. All students should be in full Strolling performance attire.
If any parents want to come and watch their child perform (we will be performing our whole set from first quarter in addition to our Holiday set), please email me at crystal.payne@gilbertschools.net
We have plenty of space on the bus for a couple of parents. We’d love to have you come and join us.
In addition to this performance, we also have the following performances:
Wednesday,, December 7th-TOYBOX Preschool performance during 2nd hour (all students will be excused and will be responsible for missed work)
Friday, December 7th-Mariposa Point Assisted Living Center (across the street)-students should report to the orchestra room after school, warm up, and then we will head over to Mariposa Point and start our performance at 3:30 PM. Students will be finished at approximately 4:15 PM.
Saturday, December 8th-Spectrum Community Association Performance. This is at the Community Center (2928 Spectrum Way, Gilbert, AZ 85295) in their community and students will need to arrive at 5:45 PM. We will begin performing at 6:00 PM. We will perform from 6:00-6:45 PM and then have a 30 minute break (the students can check out the event) and then resume performing at 7:15-8:00 PM. Students will be finished no later than 8 PM.
