Orchestra Benefit Concert-Songs for Sandy
by on April 18, 2019 in Event Information

Good morning,

As Campo Verde High School’s Orchestra director, I truly believe our Orchestra Program is like an extended family for many of our students. With that being said, one of our orchestra family members needs our help and support. One of our freshman cellist’s mom is battling stage 4 cancer for the 2nd time. This particular family has another child who is in Choir here at Campo and more children at SVJH and Spectrum Elementary.

We want to help this family in any way that we can and show them our support. There will be a benefit concert held on Monday, April 29th. I already spoke about this in class and polled students about 2 weeks ago to see if we would have enough students’ participation to make it happen and they were on board and wanted to help in any way that they could.

This concert is optional and will not count for a grade. However, the more students who can participate, the better. If your child has a conflict, or has another commitment, please let me know so that I can plan accordingly. The only orchestra group performing is Symphonic Strings with 1 or 2 songs. Times will be announced and determined during this week and will be announced ASAP.
