Here at CVHS, we like to start the new school year with an on campus Lock In event organized by our orchestra council members. This is optional, but strongly encouraged. The lock in event happens here at CVHS in the Orchestra, Band, and Choir rooms. The event takes place from 4-9 PM on Friday, August 17th. This is a great way for our students to make a new friend in orchestra and get to know their peers. We hold sectional games (ex: all violists from all three ensembles participate in a sectional game), board games, a “Just Dance” competition, “Mario Kart” competition and in the past, we have offered the opportunity to play in a kickball game. We also provide food for those who pay $5 by next Wednesday. There will be pizza, snacks, water, soda, and Costco cake. If your child is interested and wants to eat food, pleases end in $5 cash by next Wednesday, August 15th. We hope to see all of our students at our beginning of the year event.
